Electrochemical Behavior and Polarographic Determination of Auronofin

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1989
Auronofin in a 50% ethanol:water solution yields, on the dropping mercury electrode, a reduction wave whose E1/2 is a function of pH in the 2 less than pH less than 9 range (E1/2 = -0.036-0.054 pH), and acquires a constant value above pH 9 (E1/2 = -0.50 V, versus saturated calomel electrode).

Electrochemical behavior of the toluidines in aqueous solutions

Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry and Interfacial Electrochemistry, 1974
Summary The electrochemical oxidation of o - and m -toluidine has been investigated at platinum and carbon paste electrodes with periodical renewal of the diffusion layer and at carbon paste electrodes with the cyclic voltammetry in the pH range 0.7–12. Oxidation mechanisms consistent with the kinetic parameters are proposed and discussed.

Mechanical properties and electrochemical behavior of porous Ti-Nb biomaterials.

Journal of The Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials, 2018
Ti-Nb-based alloys - with their superior mechanical properties and biocompatibility - are attractive biomaterials for orthopedic implants. By producing this alloys with a porous structure, it is possible to achieve mechanical properties similar to that ...

The Role of Lipopolysaccharide on the Electrochemical Behavior of Titanium

Journal of Dental Research, 2011
Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) may induce peri-implantitis and implant failure. However, the role of LPS in titanium (Ti) electrochemical behavior remains unknown. We hypothesized that LPS in saliva with different pHs affects Ti corrosion properties. Thirty-six Ti discs (15 mm × 3 mm) were divided into 12 groups according to saliva pH (3,

Electrochemical Probes of Microbial Community Behavior

Annual Review of Analytical Chemistry, 2018
Advances in next-generation sequencing technology along with decreasing costs now allow the microbial population, or microbiome, of a location to be determined relatively quickly. This research reveals that microbial communities are more diverse and complex than ever imagined.

Electrochemical Behavior and Determination of Curcumin

Journal of Electrochemistry, 2005
In 0.1 mol/L phosphate buffer solution (pH 3.0), the voltammetry behaviors of curcumin at a glassy carbon electrode have been studied. One pair of current peaks of the voltammogram may be attributed to a reversible one-electron transfer of curcumin molecules at the glassy carbon electrode.A new method, the differential pulse voltammetry, for curcumin ...

Electrochemical Behaviors of Ultramicro Triangular Pipettes

Analytical Chemistry
Ultramicro pipettes with circular orifices have practically become common probes in exploring the microscopic world, yet the versatility of differently shaped pipettes is undermined in the pore family. Herein, ultramicro triangular pipettes with a pseudotriangular-shaped orifice were fabricated by laser-pulling triangular quartz capillaries and ...
