Label‐free bead‐based metallothionein electrochemical immunosensor

ELECTROPHORESIS, 2015
A novel microfluidic label‐free bead‐based metallothionein immunosensors was designed. To the surface of superparamagnetic agarose beads coated with protein A, polyclonal chicken IgY specifically recognizing metallothionein (MT) were immobilized via rabbit IgG.

Electrochemical immunosensors for Salmonella detection in food

Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 2016
Pathogen detection is a critical point for the identification and the prevention of problems related to food safety. Failures at detecting contaminations in food may cause outbreaks with drastic consequences to public health. In spite of the real need for obtaining analytical results in the shortest time possible, conventional methods may take several ...

Disposable electrochemical immunosensor for environmental applications.

Annali di chimica, 2002
An Immunosensor for the detection of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) has been developed, using carbon-based screen-printed electrodes as solid-phase and signal transducers. The immunosensor realised is based on a direct competitive immunoassay scheme, in which the antibody against PCB was directly immobilised onto the carbon surface of the screen ...

Highly stable electrochemical immunosensor for carcinoembryonic antigen

Biosensors and Bioelectronics, 2012
The long-term stability of sensing interfaces is an important issue in biosensor fabrication. A novel stable gold nanoparticle (AuNP)-modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode interface (GC-Ph-AuNP)-based biosensor for detecting carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) was developed.

Novel electrochemical immunosensors for seafood toxin analysis

Toxicon, 2002
The current work describes the optimisation of a screen-printed electrode (SPE) system for measurement of a variety of seafood toxins, such as okadaic acid, brevetoxin, domoic acid and tetrodotoxin. A disposable screen-printed carbon electrode coupled with amperometric detection of p-aminophenol at +300 mV vs.
