Improving the electrochromic properties of the composite films for electrochromic device

Ionics, 2021
Electrochromism is defined as change of the optical property under potential applied. Among the organic electrochromic materials, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) is considered as one of the most valuable conductive polymers due to its excellent transmittance in the visible light range, high mechanical flexibility ...

ELECTROCHROMIC PROPERTIES OF POLYTHIOPHENE

Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica, 1986
The redox reaction of polythiophene displays electrochromic property, which was measured in situ by the electrochemically modulated reflectance spectroscopy. The electrochromic parameter of polythiophene are as follows, transformation time 10-20ms life time 10 circles time of color maintenance several minutes polythiophene can be used as an ideal ...

Electrochromic Properties of Sol-Gel Deposited Electrochromic TiO2 Thin Films

Journal of Advanced Research in Applied Sciences and Engineering Technology, 2023
Electrochromic (EC) smart windows are a type of glass window that can change from transparent to darker colour shades when a small voltage is applied. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) can be utilised as an EC material for EC smart windows. Although the TiO2 sol-gel spin-coating method is commonly used, the effect of the number of TiO2 layers was not reported ...

Electrochromic Properties of Polythiophene Polyrotaxane Film

Langmuir, 2011
The electrochromic properties of a polythiophene polyrotaxane film consisting of a polythiophene backbone wrapped by the tetra-cationic cyclophane, cyclobis(paraquat-p-phenylene), were characterized. A naked reference polythiophene film, i.e., polythiophene without tetra-cationic cyclophane, was also characterized.
