Effect of the passive damping plate on the vertical stability of permanent magnet electrodynamic suspension system

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications
The vertical stability of permanent magnet (PM) electrodynamic suspension (EDS) system with a passive damping plate is studied because of the well‐known under‐damped nature of the EDS suspension system.

Carbon-Based Flexible Electrode for Efficient Electrochemical Generation of Reactive Chlorine Species in Tumor Therapy. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Healthc Mater
A flexible electrode loaded with a carbon nanowire network (CC@C‐NWN) is developed for electrochemically generating reactive chlorine species (RCS) from abundant chloride ions in body fluids for tumor therapy. CC@C‐NWN enhances chlorine evolution, inducing redox dysregulation and synergistic apoptosis‐ferroptosis in tumor cells.

A novel tetrahedral framework nucleic acid-derived chemodynamic therapy agent for effective glioblastoma treatment. [PDF]

open access: yesCell Prolif
A novel CDT agent (Fe@tFNAs‐ANG‐3AT) is developed and demonstrates the capability to effectively cross the BBB and selectively accumulate in tumour cells. Upon tumour cell internalization, Fe@tFNAs‐ANG‐3AT can augment the H2O2 levels and react with GSH and H2O2 to generate •OH, thus leading to an effective CDT against GBM. Abstract Chemodynamic therapy

Adaptive dynamic programming discrete‐time LQR control on electromagnetic levitation system

open access: yesIET Control Theory &Applications, Volume 17, Issue 12, Page 1677-1687, August 2023., 2023
In this paper, an adaptive dynamic programming discrete‐time LQR control is designed for an electromagnetic levitation system to track the reference trajectories and preserve stability in severe situations efficiently. Abstract In this paper, an adaptive dynamic programming discrete‐time linear quadratic Riccati (ADP‐DTLQR) control is designed for an ...

Reducing the Power Consumption of the Electrodynamic Suspension Levitation System by Changing the Span of the Horizontal Magnet in the Halbach Array

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
In high-speed magnetic railways, it is necessary to create the forces that lift the train. This effect is achieved by using active (EMS) or passive (EDS) magnetic systems.

Honeycomb‐Layered Oxides With Silver Atom Bilayers and Emergence of Non‐Abelian SU(2) Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 10, Issue 6, February 24, 2023., 2023
This work reports a new class of honeycomb‐layered oxides (Ag2 M 2TeO6 (M is a transition or alkaline‐earth metal)) comprising unconventional sub‐valent bilayered silver‐rich domains (Ag6 M 2TeO6), as elucidated via aberration‐corrected transmission electron microscopy.

Highly Sensitive Thin‐Film Sensing with a Toroidal Dipole Resonance in the Midinfrared Supported by an E‐Shaped Germanium Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 3, Issue 11, November 2022., 2022
A novel and highly efficient optical thin‐film sensing technique based on the use of toroidal dipole (TD) resonance is demonstrated with both experimental results and numerical assistance. Supported by an E‐shaped germanium metasurface structure on a CaF2 substrate, the sharp TD resonance working in the midinfrared can help achieve easy detection of ...
