Carbon-Based Flexible Electrode for Efficient Electrochemical Generation of Reactive Chlorine Species in Tumor Therapy. [PDF]
A flexible electrode loaded with a carbon nanowire network (CC@C‐NWN) is developed for electrochemically generating reactive chlorine species (RCS) from abundant chloride ions in body fluids for tumor therapy. CC@C‐NWN enhances chlorine evolution, inducing redox dysregulation and synergistic apoptosis‐ferroptosis in tumor cells.

A novel CDT agent (Fe@tFNAs‐ANG‐3AT) is developed and demonstrates the capability to effectively cross the BBB and selectively accumulate in tumour cells. Upon tumour cell internalization, Fe@tFNAs‐ANG‐3AT can augment the H2O2 levels and react with GSH and H2O2 to generate •OH, thus leading to an effective CDT against GBM. Abstract Chemodynamic therapy
