SUMMARYA comparison was made of a sine‐wave and a pulse‐wave electroejaculator for the collection of semen from male goats. Six animals were ejaculated once, using one or other instrument and 8 were ejaculated with each device with an intervening rest period.

Electroejaculation of the coyote
Theriogenology, 1983Two electroejaculators were used to collect semen from 40 adult male coyotes. The most effective apparatus used a two-ring rectal probe and an AC voltage of 18 (Vrms) at 1000 Hz. With this ejaculator, 11 of 15 coyotes produced a satisfactory semen sample, which averaged 0.9 ml in volume and 70 million spermatozoa per ml.

Electroejaculation Following Retroperitoneal Lymphadenectomy
Journal of Urology, 1991Transrectal electroejaculation was performed in 24 men who were anejaculatory from retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy. Of the men 23 had undergone retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy because of testis cancer. Seminal emission was achieved in all patients. In 21 patients greater than 10 x 10(6) progressively motile sperm with normal morphology were obtained ...

Idiopathic Anejaculation Treated by Electroejaculation
The International Journal of Psychiatry in Medicine, 1990Idiopathic anejaculation is a relatively rare cause of sexual dysfunction that usually presents as an infertility problem. When such patients have nocturnal emissions the problem is usually considered psychogenic and referral is made to a psychiatrist.

Electroejaculation of the great apes
Annals of Biomedical Engineering, 1974The scientific literature concerning electroejaculation of simian primates contains many reports of successful collection of seminal fluid through electrostimulation with penile and rectal electrodes. In none of these reports is there a sufficient discussion of the important electrical parameters involved, such as the amplitude and density of electric ...

Rectal Probe Electroejaculation of Primates
Journal of Medical Primatology, 1978The technique of rectal probe electroejaculation has been developed to permit collection of semen using equipment proven safe, simple, and effective on the 30 primate species so far tested. This paper provides information on the construction and operation of this equipment, together with electrical parameters applicable to primate species.

Semen collection from mice: electroejaculation
Reproduction, Fertility and Development, 2002The effects of device type (electrostimulator, function generator or computer-generated waveforms), waveform (square, triangle or sine wave), probe type (ring or strip) and anaesthetic compound (ketamine/xylazine combination or pentobarbitone sodium) were investigated on electroejaculation (EEJ) responses of C57Bl × CBA and C57Bl/6J mice.
