β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Electrolyte Additives for Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cells [PDF]
Electrochemical characteristics of a series of modified phosphoric acid electrolytes containing fluorinated carbon compounds and silicone fluids as additives are presented. When used in phosphoric acid fuel cells, the modified electrolytes improve the performance due to the enhanced oxygen reduction rate.

An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

Dual‐Function Electrolyte Additive for Highly Reversible Zn Anode
Practical application of aqueous Zn‐ion batteries (AZIBs) is significantly limited by poor reversibility of the Zn anode. This is because of 1) dendrite growth, and 2) water‐induced parasitic reactions including hydrogen evolution, during cycling.

Evaluation of Electrolyte Additives for High‐Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells
AbstractIn this study, perfluoroalkyl phosphonic acids CF3PO3H2 and C2F5PO3H2 are investigated as additives to phosphoric acid to improve the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) of high‐temperature polymer electrolyte (PEM) fuel cells. A comprehensive characterization of acid mixtures composed of 20 wt % additive and 80 wt % concentrated phosphoric acid is
