Electromagnetic-field-enhanced desorption of atoms

Physical Review B, 1990
On decrit comment l'excitation collective des electrons dans une petite particule metallique conduit a un renforcement (augmentation) considerable du champ dans la region de la surface; ce qui induit des transitions electroniques resultant eventuellement en la desorption des atomes.

Enhanced electromagnetic radiation recoil

Physics Letters A, 1977
Abstract The interference between two separated electric dipole radiators leads to a lower order linear momentum flux and hence recoil than that which can be achieved by a single system.

Techniques for electromagnetic attacks enhancement

5th International Conference on Design & Technology of Integrated Systems in Nanoscale Era, 2010
Electromagnetic attacks (EMA) pose real threats to embedded devices containing a secret information. Such attacks are of great concern since they are completely passive, low cost and easily mounted in practice. In this paper, we propose two innovative techniques to enhance electromagnetic attacks by reducing the number of measurements needed to succeed

Enhancement of electromagnetic energy by plasma antenna

Nano Energy, 2020
Abstract Plasma materials offer major advantages over normal materials: plasma can be rapidly built and destroyed in millisecond to microsecond time scales, permit a fast changing of the electrical power and incident frequency with controlled characteristics. We present that plasma antenna can focus and enhance electromagnetic energy.

Metaswarm: Enhanced evolutionary algorithms for electromagnetic optimization

2006 International Waveform Diversity & Design Conference, 2006
Here some variations of the basic Particle Swarm algorithm (a relatively novel approach for global stochastic optimisation) are proposed in order to increase the efficiency of the search over the solution space with a negligible overhead in the algorithm complexity and speed.

Threshold enhancement and the flavor-changing electromagnetic vertex

Physical Review Letters, 1990
We analyze the evolution of the flavor-changing electromagnetic vertex as a function of the external initial quark mass {ital m}{sub {ital e}}, in the three-generation standard model. We find a substantial threshold enhancement in the vertex, to one-loop order, when {ital m}{sub {ital e}} is of the order of the mass of the {ital W} boson. We comment on
