Drinking Mineral Water and Low-Intensity Electromagnetic Radiation Combinational Effect on Rat Testes in Metabolic Syndrome: а Randomized Controlled Study

open access: yesВестник восстановительной медицины, 2022
INTRODUCTION. To correct disorders in the male reproductive system organs in the metabolic syndrome, it seems reasonable to use a combined effect of natural and artificial therapeutic physical factors – drinking mineral water and low-intensity ...

Strategies to Enhance the Data Density in Synchronous Electromagnetic Encoders

open access: yesSensors, 2022
In this paper, we report two different strategies to enhance the data density in electromagnetic encoders with synchronous reading. One approach uses a periodic chain of rectangular metallic patches (clock chain) that determines the encoder velocity, and dictates the instants of time for retrieving the bits of the identification (ID) code.

Boosting an anapole mode response through electromagnetic interactions beyond near-field limit in individual all-dielectric disk-ring nanostructures

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2021
Anapole modes of all-dielectric nanostructures hold great promise for many nanophotonic applications. However, anapole modes can hardly couple to other modes through far-field interactions, and their near-field enhancements are dispersed widely inside ...

Tuning Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance of Nanoporous Gold with a Silica Shell for Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2019
We report the tuning of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of nanoporous gold (NPG) by silica coating, which also affects the surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) of NPG.

Electromagnetic enhancement of turbulent heat transfer

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2008
We performed large eddy simulations (LES) of the turbulent natural convection of an electrically conductive fluid (water with 7% Na2SO4 electrolyte solution) in a moderate (4:4:1) aspect ratio enclosure heated from below and cooled from above and subjected to external nonuniformly distributed electromagnetic fields.

Coulomb attraction driven spontaneous molecule-hotspot pairing enables universal, fast, and large-scale uniform single-molecule Raman spectroscopy

open access: yesOpto-Electronic Advances
Raman spectroscopy offers a great power to detect, analyze and identify molecules, and monitor their temporal dynamics and evolution when combined with single-molecule surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SM-SERS) substrates.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

A Practical Noise2Noise Denoising Pipeline for High‐Throughput Raman Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A lightweight and reproducible denoising pipeline for high‐throughput Raman spectroscopy is introduced, based on a 1D convolutional autoencoder trained with a Noise2Noise strategy. Using only repeated short‐exposure acquisitions, the method suppresses stochastic noise without reference spectra, enabling reliable spectral reconstruction while preserving
