Radial electromagnetic force calculation of induction motor based on multi-loop theory
[Objectives] In order to study the vibration and noise of induction motors, a method of radial electromagnetic force calculation is established on the basis of the multi-loop model.[Methods] Based on the method of calculating air-gap magneto motive force

On the Electromagnetic Energies and Forces
The problem of the `infinite energy' of a point charge is well known in connection with the Lorentz--Abraham--Dirac equation and, more significantly, in quantum electrodynamics. Though it is not stated usually, this is strongly related to the old problem of what the electromagnetic energy-momentum tensor is.

Dynamical Equations of Spinning Particles: Feynman's Proof
In this letter, we discuss the extension of Feynman's derivation of the equation of motion to the case of spinning particles. We show that a spinning particle interacts only with the electromagnetic and gravitational fields.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

The force-free (or low inertia) limit of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) can be applied to many astrophysical objects, including black holes, neutron stars, and accretion disks, where the electromagnetic field is so strong that the inertia and pressure of the

Conductance‐Dependent Photoresponse in a Dynamic SrTiO3 Memristor for Biorealistic Computing
A nanoscale SrTiO3 memristor is shown to exhibit dynamic synaptic behavior through the interaction of local electrical and global optical signals. Its photoresponse depends quantitatively on the conductance state, which evolves and decays over tunable timescales, enabling ultralow‐power, biorealistic learning mechanisms for advanced in‐memory and ...

What is the force on a magnetic dipole?
We show that attempts to modify the force on a magnetic dipole by introducing either hidden momentum or internal forces are not correct. The standard textbook result ${\bf F=\nabla(\bmu\cdot B)}$ is correct even in the presence of time dependent ...
