Photonic time crystals (PTCs) are systems in which electromagnetic parameters are modulated periodically in time, producing momentum bandgaps via temporal scattering rather than spatial Bragg processes. This review examines the theoretical frameworks, modeling, and computational tools for time‐varying media, and summarizes experimental demonstrations ...

Electromagnetic field computation and electromagnetic signal processing
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1995In this paper we present the use of electromagnetic signal processing for tracking and estimation. The computation of the backscattered electromagnetic field is given for the specific case of a simplified aircraft model. An on-line electromagnetic estimator that estimates the orientation of the aircraft from the field information is derived.

Electromagnetic Indices of Language Processing
2010In this chapter, we describe the processes underlying language comprehension, both in the visual modality of reading and in the auditory modality of listening, by focusing on the main stages of linguistic information processing, from the sensory to the symbolic levels.
