Electromagnetic Processes in Dispersive Media

1991
This is an advanced text on electromagnetic theory, presenting a systematic discussion of electromagnetic waves and radiation processes in a wide variety of media. The treatment, taken from the field of plasma physics, is based on the dielectric tensor, and this permits the discussion of media outside the scope of the usual approach adopted in most ...

Electromagnetic divergences in weak processes

Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1972
We generalize earlier calculations of the leading divergence in weak transitions between hadrons by including the electromagnetic interactions of the hadrons and of the charged W-boson. It is found that these can be removed by a self-mass counter term having the same form as that found earlier.

Research of dynamics of electromagnetic processes of electromagnetic systems

2010
Для повышения эффективности процессов диагностирования ЕМС в работе предложено использование непрямого метода, который заключается в анализе динамических свойств тока, протекающего по обмотке реле с напряжением, которое изменяется некоторым образом.

Apparatus and process for electromagnetic imaging

2023
A computer-implemented process for electromagnetic imaging, the process including the steps of: accessing scattering data representing at least a two-dimensional array of measurements of electromagnetic wave scattering by internal features of an object, wherein the object is generally symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry through the object ...

Adhesive processing by electromagnetic irradiation

Polymer Engineering & Science, 1988
AbstractA mathematical model is presented which describes the degree of cure in a thermosetting adhesive used to bond sheet molding compound (SMC) components. The model allows computer aided optimization of the thermosetting process for any type of electromagnetic heating of the various layers of the structure (e.g. dielectric, microwave or induction),

Nuclear Shadowing of Electromagnetic Processes

1978
The study of the high-energy interactions with nuclear targets is both interesting and important. In addition to the obvious advantages—ease of fabrication and operation, and large cross sections—nuclear targets offer unique opportunities to explore processes not otherwise accessible.
