Mixed electromagnetically and self-induced transparency
We show that application of self-induced transparency (SIT) solitons as a driving field in V-type electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) leads to ;;mixed induced transparency' (MIT) that nicely combines the best features of both SIT and EIT.

Electromagnetically induced transparency in6Li [PDF]
We report electromagnetically induced transparency for the D1 and D2 lines in $^{6}$Li in both a vapour cell and an atomic beam. Electromagnetically induced transparency is created using co-propagating mutually coherent laser beams with a frequency difference equal to the hyperfine ground state splitting of 228.2 MHz.

Plasmon-Induced Transparency in an Asymmetric Bowtie Structure
Plasmon-induced transparency is an efficient way to mimic electromagnetically induced transparency, which can eliminate the opaque effect of medium to the propagating electromagnetic wave.

Subwavelength Localization of Atomic Excitation Using Electromagnetically Induced Transparency
We report an experiment in which an atomic excitation is localized to a spatial width that is a factor of 8 smaller than the wavelength of the incident light.

Correlated Rydberg electromagnetically induced transparencys
Abstract In the regime of Rydberg electromagnetically induced transparency, we study the correlated behaviors between the transmission spectra of a pair of probe fields passing through respective parallel one-dimensional cold Rydberg ensembles.

A high Q-factor metamaterial sensor based on electromagnetically induced transparency-like
This paper proposes an electromagnetically induced transparency-like (EIT-like) metamaterial with a high-quality factor (143.54), which is composed of a square ring resonator (SRR) and a cross-shaped resonator (CR).

Establishing and storing of deterministic quantum entanglement among three distant atomic ensembles
Continuous-variable encoding is a promising approach for quantum information and communication networks. Here, the authors show how to map entanglement from three spatial optical modes to three separated atomic samples via electromagnetically induced ...
