Distributed parameters model of electromechanical actuator

RoMoCo '05., 2005In this paper is considered modelling of voltage forced electromechanical actuator taking friction and spring stiffness into account. 3D distributed parameters model including eddy current phenomena and magnetic non-linearity is presented. In numerical example a motion of movable armature is presented.

Synthetic Metals, 1995Conductive polymers, such as polypyrrole (PPy), undergo unusual mechanical responses when subjected to applied electrical potentials. This study reports on investigations into the molecular mechanisms of such responses in PPy, with specific reference to the role of the counterion and electrolyte cation.
