Kinetic‐Coordinated Mechano‐Electrochemical Steady‐State in All‐Solid‐State Si–Se Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, Volume 5, Issue 6, November 2026.
A kinetic‐coordinated mechano‐electrochemical steady‐state design couples the complementary volume changes and reaction progression of the LixSi anode and Se cathode. This coordination mitigates the large pressure fluctuations that would otherwise arise from unmatched electrode volume changes and helps maintain interfacial contact during cycling.

Validation of Electrostrictive Performance of P(VDF‐TrFE‐CFE) for kHz Range Applications

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 64, Issue 19, Page 4197-4212, 1 October 2026.
This study demonstrates that the high‐frequency deformation of the relaxor ferroelectric polymer P(VDF–TrFE–CFE) is governed by Maxwell's electrostriction, confirming its suitability for fast electromechanical applications. Combining original high‐frequency mechanical characterization, laser vibrometry measurements, and numerical modeling, a ...

Ultrasonic Vibration Assisted Laser Processing: A Hybrid Paradigm for Extreme Surface Enhancement

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Traditional laser processing techniques offer many advantages, but they often encounter limitations such as heat‐affected zones, recast layers, residual tensile stresses, and poor surface finish. The integration of ultrasonic vibration (UV) presents a promising hybrid approach to overcome these challenges by introducing beneficial effects like
