Electron-impact excitation of krypton

Physical Review A, 1985
First-order many-body theory has been used to calculate the differential, integrated, and momentum-transfer cross sections for the electron-impact excitation of the 5s'((1/2))/sub 1//sup 0/( /sup 1/P/sub 1/ ), 5s((3/2))/sub 1//sup 0/( /sup 3/P/sub 1/), 5s'((1/2))/sub 0//sup 0/( /sup 3/P/sub 0/), and 5s((3/2))/sub 2//sup 0/( /sup 3/P/sub 2/)= states of ...

Excitation of Be+ by electron impact

Journal of Applied Physics, 1983
A realistic analytic central potential is used to generate wave functions for the ground and excited states of singly-ionized beryllium. Generalized oscillator strengths and integrated cross sections from threshold to 5 keV are calculated in the Born approximation for 2s-ns, 2s-np and 2s-nd excitations.
