Electron–electron and electron–hole pairing in graphene structures [PDF]
The superconducting pairing of electrons in doped graphene owing to in-plane and out-of-plane phonons is considered. It is shown that the structure of the order parameter in the valley space substantially affects conditions of the pairing. Electron–hole pairing in a graphene bilayer in the strong coupling regime is also considered.

Polarization Effects in the Reaction d+eˉ → d+eˉ
The differential cross section and polarization observables for the elastic reaction induced by deuteron scattering off electrons at rest, are calculated in the one-photon-exchange approximation. The following polarization observables were calculated: 1-

The ultrastructural investigation of mitochondria in B-CLL cells during apoptosis [PDF]
BACKGROUND: B-chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) is an example of human malignancy caused by alternations in the pathways of apoptosis. Mitochondria play a critical role in the regulation of this process.

Image of the Electron Suggested by Nonlinear Electrodynamics Coupled to Gravity
We present a systematic review of the basic features that were adopted for different electron models and show, in a brief overview, that, for electromagnetic spinning solitons in nonlinear electrodynamics minimally coupled to gravity (NED-GR), all of ...

Few Body Effects in the Electron and Positron Impact Ionization of Atoms
Triple differential cross sections (TDCS) are presented for the electron and positron impact ionization of inert gas atoms in a range of energy sharing geometries where a number of significant few body effects compete to define the shape of the TDCS ...

CTFFIND4: Fast and accurate defocus estimation from electron micrographs
CTFFIND is a widely-used program for the estimation of objective lens defocus parameters from transmission electron micrographs. Defocus parameters are estimated by fitting a model of the microscope’s contrast transfer function (CTF) to an image’s ...
