An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

Design, simulation and experiment of a cusp electron beam for millimeter wave gyro-devices [PDF]
The design, simulation and experiment of a thermionic cusp electron gun that is to be used for millimeter wave generation will be presented. A cusp gun uses a non-adiabatic magnetic field reversal to obtain azimuthal motion on an electron beam resulting ...

Iron‐based metallic glass alloys exhibit excellent soft‐magnetic properties, and unprecedented geometrical freedom in the design of soft‐magnetic metallic glass components is made possible by additive manufacturing. An efficient workflow for developing parameters for laser‐based powder bed fusion of a Fe‐based metallic glass alloy is presented along ...

Herein, environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) is discussed as a powerful extension of conventional SEM for life sciences. By combining high‐resolution imaging with variable pressure and humidity, ESEM allows the analysis of untreated biological materials, supports in situ monitoring of hydration‐driven changes, and advances the functional ...

The Effects of Etchant on via Hole Taper Angle and Selectivity in Selective Laser Etching
This research focuses on the manufacturing of a glass interposer that has gone through glass via (TGV) connection holes. Glass has unique properties that make it suitable for 3D integrated circuit (IC) interposers, which include low permittivity, high ...

Electron beam deflected to determine focal point location [PDF]
System locates the focal point of an extremely high intensity electron beam. The electron beam is swept and scanned cyclically with deflection coils under a focusing lens, causing the beam focal point to move so the locus of its positions is a spherical ...
