Nanohardness of Electron Beam Irradiated HDPE [PDF]

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Research, 2014
Micromechanical changes in the surface layer of High-density polyethylene HDPE modified by beta radiation were measured by instrumented test of nanohardness. The specimens were prepared by injection technology and subjected to radiation doses of 0, 132, 165, 198 kGy.

Characteristics of PVDF Membranes Irradiated by Electron Beam [PDF]

open access: yesMembranes, 2015
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membranes were exposed vertically to a high energy electron beam (EB) in air, at room temperature. The chemical changes were examined by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The surface morphologies were studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and showed some changes in the pore size.

Electron-Beam Radiation Effects in Multilayer Structures Grown with the Periodical Deposition of Si and CaF2 on Si(111)

open access: yesMaterials Proceedings, 2023
The formation of CaSi2 films on Si(111) with the molecular-beam epitaxy (MBE) of CaF2 under fast electron-beam irradiation was investigated. The method of a high-planarity CaSi2 film synthesis assisted by electron-beam irradiation was developed.

Electron-beam recording of surface structures on As-S-Se chalcogenide thin films

open access: yesФізика і хімія твердого тіла, 2020
The effect of electron beam irradiation on the amorphous chalcogenide film As38S36Se26 was studied. The formation of cones with a Gaussian profile on the surfaces of the films was found after local electron irradiation.

Effect of High Energy Electron Beam Irradiation on Cell Wall Degradation Related Enzyme Activities and Gene Expressions of Kiwifruit

open access: yesShipin gongye ke-ji, 2022
‘Hayward’ kiwifruits were used as the test materials to be irradiated with high energy electron beams at doses of 0 (control), 300, 400 and 500 Gy. The fruits were stored at 0~1 ℃, RH 90%~95% for 90 d.
