Electron backscatter diffraction in the silicon nanowires
In this paper we consider the formation on the surface of silicon by metal-induced chemical etching, the silicon nanowires and the study of their electron (SEM) and (TEM) microscopy, X-ray diffraction (EDX) analysis and electron backscatter diffraction ...

Covalently‐Bonded Diaphite Nanoplatelet with Engineered Electronic Properties of Diamond
A novel approach to engineering the electronic properties of diamond is reported on the diaphite nanoplatelet consisting of (11¯${{\bar{1}}}$1) planes of diamond nanoplatelet covalently bonded with graphite (0001) planes. The strong sp3/sp2‐hybridized interfacial covalent bonding induces the electron transfer from diamond to graphite, resulting in a ...

Simultaneous real and momentum space electron diffraction from a fullerene molecule [PDF]
Plane-wave electrons undergo momentum transfer as they scatter off a target in overlapping spherical waves. The transferred momentum leads to target structural information to be encoded in angle and energy differential scattering. For symmetric, periodic or structured targets this can engender diffraction in the electron intensity both in real (angular)

Imbalanced Surface Charge Induced Phase Segregation in Mixed Halide Perovskites
The key factor determining the phase segregation in mixed halide perovskites (MHP) is the intrinsic imbalanced surface charges in the crystal lattice. MHP films with excellent crystallinity and surface morphology can suffer severe phase segregation.

2H‐Au Nanosheet‐Templated Growth of PdFe for Electrocatalytic Methanol Oxidation
2H‐to‐face‐centered cubic (fcc) phase transformation of 2H‐Au happens when PdFe alloy epitaxially grows on 2H‐Au nanosheets (NSs), forming 2H/fcc Au@PdFe NSs, and the 2H/fcc phase ratio in 2H/fcc Au@PdFe NSs can be tuned correspondingly by changing the Pd/Fe atomic ratio.
