Electron Holography of Nanostructured Magnetic Materials
Off-axis electron holography and micromagnetic calculations that involve solutions to the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equations are used to study magnetization reversal processes in lithographically patterned submicron-sized Co and Co/Au/Ni magnetic elements.

Electron holography applied to the study of ceramic materials
The experimental setup of a transmission electron microscope for electron holography is shown. Using a model system of small gold particles on amorphous germanium, capabilities of electron holography are demonstrated.

Quantifying carbon site switching dynamics in GaN by electron holography
Off-axis electron holography is utilized to identify point defect reactions and quantify their dynamics by probing the time and temperature dependence of the Fermi level upon annealing.

Lorentz Microscopy and Electron Holography of Nanocrystalline Magnetic Materials
This paper employs an analytical model for the phase shifts imparted on a beam electron by a spherical particle with a uniform magnetization. Model image simulations of Fresnel and Foucault type Lorentz microscopy contrast are presented.
