ABSTRACT The northern European distal cryptotephra framework is constantly developing both in terms of identification of new tephra horizons and improved age constraints for the already well‐established tephra marker horizons. However, many prehistoric tephra layers have only been dated by the radiocarbon method, with its inherent problems.

ABSTRACT Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) is a targeted radiotherapy that exploits the selective accumulation of the 10B isotope within tumors, followed by irradiation with low‐energy neutrons to induce high linear energy transfer particles with short path lengths, resulting in localized tumor cell destruction while sparing surrounding healthy ...

Ti3C2Tx (MXene)‐Polystyrene Based Passivation for Perovskite Solar Cells With Enhanced Stability
A new class of surface passivation strategy by integrating conductive 2D Ti3C2Tx and hydrophobic polystyrene for stable perovskite solar cells is introduced in this work. Polystyrene‐MXene passivated devices retained more than 93% of their initial efficiencies after storing in ambient air with high humidity conditions for 30 days.

ZONATION OF PHLOGOPITE OF CARBONATITE-PEGMATITES OF THE BULDYM DEPOSIT OF THE VISHNEVYE MOUNTAINS (SOUTH URALS) [PDF]
In a plate 19 cm in size from the columnar crystal of phlogopite Buldym deposit in the Southern Urals, we studied the composition of alternating greenish-brown, yellowish-brown and darker brown areas by electron-probe microanalysis.

Inflammatory skin diseases are driven by immune dysregulation and cytokine imbalance. A challenge persists in profiling cytokines in microscopically derived biopsy skin samples due to low protein content. This study introduces a digital SERS immunoassay to simultaneously detect IL‐17A, IL‐22, IL‐23, and TNF at trace concentrations as low as 104 aM. The

H2 prereduction selectively metallizes Fe in UG2 chromite pellets at 1100°C, while silicon carbide becomes active at 1300°C to convert remaining Cr2O3 to carbides and promote Cr metallization. By separating the roles of H2 and SiC, the sequential route reaches up to 65.7% Cr metallization and suppresses in‐furnace CO generation by ≈75% versus ...

Alteration of X‐Ray Emission Band Spectrum Under Bragg Diffraction
ABSTRACT We use a Zr/Si multilayer presenting a gradient of period to probe the shape of the Si L2,3 emission band (maximum around 92 eV) in and out of Bragg conditions. The sample was prepared by magnetron sputtering and its reflectance measured in the photon energy range of interest with synchrotron radiation.
