Magnetic defects in chemically converted graphene nanoribbons: electron spin resonance investigation
Electronic spin transport properties of graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) are influenced by the presence of adatoms, adsorbates and edge functionalization. To improve the understanding of the factors that influence the spin properties of GNRs, local (element ...

Spin resonance spectroscopy with an electron microscope
Abstract Coherent spin resonance methods, such as nuclear magnetic resonance and electron spin resonance spectroscopy, have led to spectrally highly sensitive, non-invasive quantum imaging techniques. Here, we propose a pump-probe spin resonance spectroscopy approach, designed for electron microscopy, based on microwave pump fields and ...

A miniaturized mechano‐acoustic sensor is developed using an electrospun PVDF nanomesh as the diaphragm in a capacitive sensor structure. Unlike conventional nanomesh‐based sensors, it achieves high linear sensitivity, a broad and flat frequency response, and a compact form factor.

Atomic-scale imaging of a 27-nuclear-spin cluster using a single-spin quantum sensor
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is a powerful method for determining the structure of molecules and proteins. While conventional NMR requires averaging over large ensembles, recent progress with single-spin quantum sensors has created the prospect of ...

A rationally engineered bifunctional photocatalyst is reported, which achieves simultaneous selective oxidation of biomass‐derived 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) to 2,5‐diformylfuran (DFF) and efficient H2 evolution. By precisely positioning Au and Co3O4 on Zn3In2S6 nanosheet, dual interfacial electric fields are well constructed to spatially separate ...
