Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy (Esr)

1986
Electron spin resonance (esr) (also known as electron paramagnetic resonance, epr) has been successfully applied to biological problems since the late 1950s (Commoner et al., 1957). The method compares closely with nmr in being essentially nondestructive since the measuring wavelengths fall within the microwave portion of the spectrum, corresponding to

In Vivo Dosimetry by Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy

Health Physics, 1968
AbstractSeveral tissues, especially hard tissues, showed persistent electron spin resonances following in vivo or in vitro irradiations. The resonances had a linear relation to dose. Dose measurements were made in teeth at less than 100 rads of 60Co radiation.

Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy

1999
Some ideas of generalized Peierls as well generalized spin-Peierls (s-P) transitions in conjugated (quasi) 1D—polymers are discussed. ESR, IR and microwave photoconductivity studies on oriented carbynoid samples prepared by chemical dehydrofluorination of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) agreed rather well with the assuption of a room temperature ...

Single-chip detector for electron spin resonance spectroscopy

Review of Scientific Instruments, 2008
We have realized an innovative integrated detector for electron spin resonance spectroscopy. The microsystem, consisting of an LC oscillator, a mixer, and a frequency division module, is integrated onto a single silicon chip using a conventional complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology.

Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) Spectroscopy

2005
Electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy, invented by Zavoiskii in 1944, is similar to NMR spectroscopy. ESR spectroscopy is an absorption spectroscopy which involves the absorption of radiation in the microwave region (104–106 MHz) by substances containing one or more unpaired electrons.

Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) Spectroscopy

1992
Electron spin resonance (ESR) or electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy has developed at an outstanding pace since its discovery in 1945 (Zavoiskii 1945), so that at present the technique is very well understood in its many aspects. In wood chemistry, ESR has become an essential tool for the study of the structure and dynamics of molecular ...
