Radiostability of Allantoin by Using Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy
Spectroscopy Letters, 2013ABSTRACT The radiosterilization potential and dosimetric feature of allantoin were investigated through the molecular degradations produced after ultraviolet and gamma irradiation using electron spin resonance, infrared, and ultraviolet spectroscopies and thermal measurement techniques (differential thermal analysis and the glass transition temperature)

Single-chip detector for electron spin resonance spectroscopy
Review of Scientific Instruments, 2008We have realized an innovative integrated detector for electron spin resonance spectroscopy. The microsystem, consisting of an LC oscillator, a mixer, and a frequency division module, is integrated onto a single silicon chip using a conventional complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology.

Eumelanins and Pheomelanins: Characterization by Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy
Science, 1982Synthetic dopa melanin and cysteinyldopa melanin have different electron spin resonance spectra. Data are reported for mixtures of these melanins and for dopa-cysteinyldopa copolymers, which are spectroscopically similar. A simple parameterization of the spectra allows estimation of the relative amounts of (i) dopa melanin and cysteinyldopa melanin in ...

Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy
1999Some ideas of generalized Peierls as well generalized spin-Peierls (s-P) transitions in conjugated (quasi) 1D—polymers are discussed. ESR, IR and microwave photoconductivity studies on oriented carbynoid samples prepared by chemical dehydrofluorination of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) agreed rather well with the assuption of a room temperature ...

Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy (Esr)
1986Electron spin resonance (esr) (also known as electron paramagnetic resonance, epr) has been successfully applied to biological problems since the late 1950s (Commoner et al., 1957). The method compares closely with nmr in being essentially nondestructive since the measuring wavelengths fall within the microwave portion of the spectrum, corresponding to

Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) Spectroscopy
2005Electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy, invented by Zavoiskii in 1944, is similar to NMR spectroscopy. ESR spectroscopy is an absorption spectroscopy which involves the absorption of radiation in the microwave region (104–106 MHz) by substances containing one or more unpaired electrons.

Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) Spectroscopy
1992Electron spin resonance (ESR) or electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy has developed at an outstanding pace since its discovery in 1945 (Zavoiskii 1945), so that at present the technique is very well understood in its many aspects. In wood chemistry, ESR has become an essential tool for the study of the structure and dynamics of molecular ...
