We solve a Schrodinger equation for inelastic quantum transport that retains full quantum coherence, in contrast to previous rate or Boltzmann equation approaches. The model Hamiltonian is the zero temperature 1d Holstein model for an electron coupled to

Autosomal Recessive Spastic Ataxia of Charlevoix‐Saguenay in Two Half‐Siblings
ABSTRACT Autosomal recessive spastic ataxia of Charlevoix‐Saguenay (ARSACS) is caused by biallelic pathogenic variants in the SACS gene. We report the clinical, radiologic and neurophysiologic features of a pair of half‐siblings who presented with progressive cerebellar ataxia, peripheral neuropathy and upper motor neuron signs.

Beyond Inflammation: Why Understanding the Brain Matters in Inflammatory Arthritis
Persistent pain remains a major challenge in inflammatory arthritis, even when joint inflammation is well controlled. Pain and associated symptoms such as fatigue cannot be explained by peripheral inflammation alone but reflect altered central pain processing. These changes may arise through “top‐down” mechanisms, reflecting pre‐existing dysfunction in

Linear theory of nonlocal transport in a magnetized plasma
A system of nonlocal electron-transport equations for small perturbations in a magnetized plasma is derived using the systematic closure procedure of V. Yu. Bychenkov et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 75, 4405 (1995).

The article explores the discovery of unusually large, ring‐shaped ESCRT protein structures formed by immune and stromal cells. It investigates their formation, composition, and potential roles in immune synapse formation. The findings challenge assumptions about their function in immunological synapses, suggesting an exclusive role in maintaining ...

Electron Transport Properties of Composite Ferroelectrics
We study electron transport in composite ferroelectrics --- materials consisting of metallic grains embedded in a ferroelectric matrix. Due to its complex tunable morphology the thermodynamic properties of these materials can be essentially different ...
