Electronegativities of the Elements
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1956Electronegativity values derived from various methods are compared, and a complete electronegativity scale is arranged for all the elements. A chart is given which shows a systematic relation of electronegativity to the periodic system of the elements. A linear relationship is found between electronegativity and the work function of metals.

Electronegativity and superconductivity
Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1987Abstract This article gives a new criterion for superconductivity. It can be applied to all the elements in the periodic table. The criterion shows that the values of electronegativity of all superconducting elements concentrate in a narrow range from 1.3–1.9 and that elements with values outside this region would be non-superconductive.

Chemistry and electronegativity
International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, 1994AbstractThis article addresses the chemical aspects of electronegativity: (1) What is its present status in the chemical community? (2) What are the necessary chemical criteria for a quantitative definition? (3) To what extent do contemporary proposals satisfy these criteria?
