A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

UTILIZATION OF ARDUINO-BASED BLUETOOTH CONNECTION FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT CONTROL WITH VOICE COMMANDS

open access: yesJurnal Riset Informatika, 2021
Electronic equipment is a daily necessity in human life, but not infrequently we use electronic equipment excessively or ineffectively and the main problem is the factor of forgetting and being lazy to turn off electronic equipment.

Long-lived oscillatory incoherent electron dynamics in molecules: trans-polyacetylene oligomers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We identify an intriguing feature of the electron-vibrational dynamics of molecular systems via a computational examination of \emph{trans}-polyacetylene oligomers.

Next‐generation proteomics improves lung cancer risk prediction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Electronic spin working mechanically [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A single-electron tunneling (SET) device with a nanoscale central island that can move with respect to the bulk source- and drain electrodes allows for a nanoelectromechanical (NEM) coupling between the electrical current through the device and ...

High Energy Electron-Electron Scattering [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review, 1952
Eradicated electron sensitive nuclear emulsions were exposed to 200-Mev electrons at the Berkeley synchrotron. In scanning the electron tracks 427 events were observed in which the scattered electron of lower energy, or knock-on electron, had an energy greater than 30 kev.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...
