Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Electronic spectra of commensurate and incommensurate DWNTs in parallel magnectic field
We study the electronic spectra of commensurate and incommensurate double-wall carbon nanotubes (DWNTs) of finite length. The coupling between nanotube shells is taken into account as an inter-shell electron tunneling. Selection rules for the inter-shell

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Line-narrowing spectroscopy in amorphous solids through polarization detection of spectral holes. I. Principles [PDF]
Detection of spectral satellite holes by polarization spectroscopy is proposed as a method to measure the line-narrowed electronic absorption spectrum of a large mol. in an amorphous solid at low temp.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Charge neutrality level in significantly cation-anion mismatched semiconductors [PDF]
The fundamental bulk and surface electronic properties of a novel class of semiconductors, characterised by a significant mismatch between the size and electro-negativity of the cation and anion (SCAMS), have been investigated.
