Transforming Electronic Interconnect

International Symposium on Microelectronics, 2017
From nanometers at the transistor level to 100's of microns at the ball grid array (BGA) connections, electronic interconnect of semiconductors spans orders of magnitude as it forms the central nervous system of today's advanced electronic products.

A Power Electronic-Based Distribution Transformer

IEEE Power Engineering Review, 2002
The distribution transformer has been in use by utilities throughout the twentieth century. Until now, it has consisted of a configuration of iron or steel cores and copper/aluminum coils, with mineral oil serving as both coolant and dielectric medium.

Bank branch electronic transformation

2017 25th Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR), 2017
This paper presents the possibilities of using new types of banking transactions using the so-called BTAPI service, through migration from conventional to smart ATMs. BTAPI was developed as a service for the integration of multifunction ATMs with the Core Banking System for the needs of bank branch electronic transformation.

Orbital transformations and configurational transformations of electronic wavefunctions

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1999
Transformations among molecular orbitals are often expedient or illuminating, and sometimes essential in quantum chemical contexts. In order to express the many-electron wavefunction in terms of the corresponding transformed configurations, full CI calculations used to be repeated in the transformed orbital basis.

Modular multilevel power electronic transformer

2015 9th International Conference on Power Electronics and ECCE Asia (ICPE-ECCE Asia), 2015
In this paper, a modular multilevel power electronic transformer structure for power distribution system is discussed. The proposed structure consists of two completely decoupled power stages. Modular multilevel converter is adopted as the front-end ac-dc stage to convert the medium ac voltage to medium dc voltage, or vice versa. Galvanic isolation and

A Novel Electronic Current Transformer

2009 Symposium on Photonics and Optoelectronics, 2009
Optical methods for the measurement of current and voltage in high-voltage (HV) environments have been attracting more and more attention in the recent years. A novel electronic current transformer (ECT) with optical transmitting link and optically powered technology has been designed for metering or protection purposes.

Electronic transformers using amorphous material

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1977
An electronic current transformer uses an amorphous material core transformer which operates into a virtually zero ohm load by use of feedback type operational amplifiers. The output voltage is directly proportional to the primary current of the transformer.

Transformational III-V Electronics

2014
Flexible electronics using III-V materials for nano-electronics with high electron mobility and optoelectronics with direct band gap are attractive for many applications. This thesis describes a complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) compatible process for transforming traditional III-V materials based electronics into flexible one.

Bendable transformer for wearable electronics

2015 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2015
This paper proposes a bendable transformer for wearable electronics. This transformer is bendable to wrap around the forearm. A model using partial equivalent circuit theory (PEEC) is established to analyze the characteristic of the bendable transformer. The bendable transformer is then applied to an LLC DCDC converter.

Digital Transformation and Electronic Communications

2020
Digitalisation has been deeply impacting all economic sectors; nevertheless, telecom as well as media markets are at the forefront. Digitalisation implies a process of multimedia convergence allowing for a range of different digital content and services to be transmitted on the same digital network. Moreover, the decoupling of networks and services has
