Cellulose acetate electrophoresis of casein proteins
Analytical Biochemistry, 1976Abstract Samples of the milk proteins α s1 -casein and β-casein partially dephosphorylated by means of bovine spleen phosphoprotein phosphatase have been electrophoretically analysed using cellulose acetate as the supporting medium and Procion blue as the protein dye.

Improved Resolution of Cellulose Acetate Membrane Electrophoresis
Annals of Clinical Biochemistry: International Journal of Laboratory Medicine, 1987A simple modification to cellulose acetate membrane electrophoresis is described. The results are comparable to those achieved with agarose gels at high voltage.

Convenient immunofixation electrophoresis on cellulose acetate membrane
Clinica Chimica Acta, 1975Abstract Applying polyspecific antiserum onto cellulose acetate membrane after electrophoretic separation can result in a simultaneous fixation of multiple antigens as discrete bands with a resolving power of at least 30 ng protein per band.

Electrophoresis of amylose-SDS complexes on cellulose acetate
Analytical Biochemistry, 1976Abstract Discrete separation of amylose molecules according to their sizes is an essential step in the structural studies of starch. Gel filtration and fractional precipitation provide preliminary means for this purpose, but neither of them are sensitive enough to allow clear-cut separation of amylose fractions.

Haptoglobin type determination by cellulose acetate zone electrophoresis
Clinica Chimica Acta, 1963Abstract Conditions have been presented for the determination of blood haptoglobin type by cellulose acetate zone electrophoresis. The method, which requires only 10 μl of plasma or serum, is useful for routine screening procedures.

[Apparatus for electrophoresis on cellulose acetate films].
Laboratornoe delo, 1991Type EFPA-30 apparatus for electrophoresis on cellulose acetate films was developed at the Specialized Design Office for Biophysical Equipment of the Moscow Research and Production Association BIOFIZPRIBOR. Three autonomic separation cameras are united in one block, that permits separation of 12, 24, and 36 samples; the apparatus is supplied with time ...
