Determining the most appropriate printing techniques for digital printing to achieve printing quality of Teslin polymers [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Architecture, Art & Humanistic Science, 2022
Some documents in the Arab Republic of Egypt face a great challenge, which is the problem of short life span, and it is worth noting here that the global trend and also in the Arab Republic of Egypt recently is moving towards the use of polymers as an ...

Triboelectric Charging Behaviors of Polyester Films Doped with Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles of Various Crystal Structures

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
It is empirically known that titanium dioxide nanoparticles stabilize the contact and frictional charge of the host polymers to which they are added. However, the mechanism for the stabilization process has not yet been elucidated.

Influence of weak electrostatic charges and secondary flows on pneumatic powder transport

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 101, Issue 5, Page 2347-2360, May 2023., 2023
Abstract The dynamics of the transported powder determines the functionality and safety of pneumatic conveying systems. The relation between the carrier gas flow, induced by the flown‐through geometry, and the powder flow pattern is not clear yet for electrostatically charged particles.

Does a local knowledge base in Industry 3.0 foster diversification in Industry 4.0 technologies? Evidence from European regions

open access: yesPapers in Regional Science, Volume 101, Issue 1, Page 5-35, February 2022., 2022
Abstract The aim of the paper is to shed light on the role played by regional knowledge bases in Industry 3.0 in fostering new technologies in Industry 4.0 in European regions (NUTS 3) over the period 1991–2015. We find that 4.0 technologies appear to be quite related to 3.0 technologies, with some heterogeneity among different technology fields.

Impact of gamma‐irradiation on space charge and charge trap characteristics of Al/epoxy nanocomposites

open access: yesSPE Polymers, Volume 2, Issue 1, Page 38-49, February 2021., 2021
Abstract Epoxy nano Al composites were prepared using epoxyresin, hardener, and Al nanoparticles with required proportions and irradiated with gamma rays of required dosage. Surface potential measurements and space charge studies were employed to investigate the charge trapping properties of gamma‐irradiated specimens.
