Single-trial regression elucidates the role of prefrontal theta oscillations in response conflict

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2011
In most cognitive neuroscience experiments there are many behavioral and experimental dynamics, and many indices of brain activity, that vary from trial to trial.

Soft and Transient Bioelectronics Enabled by Polymer‐Free Ti3C2Tx MXene Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present Ti3C2Tx MXene hydrogel (MXgel) bioelectronics, a soft, flexible, and fully transient platform for high‐fidelity neural recording and stimulation. MXgel bioelectronics exhibit exceptional electrical conductivities, low electrochemical impedances, and high charge injection capacities.

Graphene Layers as Functional Biomaterials. From Fabrication and Characterization to Biological Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Graphene layers are fabricated on Cu foil and transferred onto glass substrates to form double‐ and multi‐layer G‐glass. Raman spectroscopy confirms structural integrity, while SEM and fluorescence microscopy reveal favorable adhesion and spreading of L‐929 fibroblast cells.

Impact of offending vessel location on lateral spread response variations in hemifacial spasm patients

open access: yesFrontiers in Neurology
ObjectiveThis study aims to investigate the impact of the offending vessel’s compression location on intraoperative lateral spread response (LSR) waveform parameters during microvascular decompression (MVD) for hemifacial spasm (HFS).

Multivariate analysis of electrophysiological diversity of Xenopus visual neurons during development and plasticity

open access: yeseLife, 2015
Biophysical properties of neurons become increasingly diverse over development, but mechanisms underlying and constraining this diversity are not fully understood.

A generative model of electrophysiological brain responses to stimulation

open access: yeseLife, 2023
Abstract Each brain response to a stimulus is, to a large extent, unique. However this variability, our perceptual experience feels stable. Standard decoding models, which utilise information across several areas to tap into stimuli distributed representations and processing, are fundamentally based on averages and, therefore, can focus

Microfluidic Droplet Plate Preserving Single Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell‐Derived Cardiomyocytes Morphology and Function

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We introduce a novel method combining microfluidics, optogenetics, and human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology to encapsulate single iPSC‐derived cardiomyocytes (iPSC‐CMs) in an optimal environment for functional characterization. This method enables direct genotype‐phenotype correlation for genetic studies and high‐throughput screening ...
