Effect of electropulsing on the solidification of mould flux [PDF]
The effect of electropulsing on the microstructure formation in solidification of mould flux has been investigated. Experimental characterization and image analysis reveals that the electropulsing treatment reduces 46% porosity and increases the ...

Recrystallization behavior of a hot-rolled TiBw/TA15 composite under electropulsing heat treatment
In the present work, low-current-density electropulsing was applied to study the recrystallization behavior of a hot-rolled TiBw/TA15 composite. To highlight the athermal effect of electropulsing, traditional heat treatment experiments on composite ...

Electropulsing suppresses extrusion growth in polycrystalline copper subjected to fatigue loading
The effect of electropulsing on the extrusion due to persistent slip bands (PSBs) and the defects in PSBs was investigated. To extend the service life and improve structural safety, technology is needed to repair fatigue damage such as cracks and ...

A room‐temperature annealing process is demonstrated on p‐type SnO thin‐film transistors, intentionally degraded with heavy ion irradiation. The proposed electron wind force technique takes less than a minute to recover on–off ratio by 4 times, field‐effect mobility by 40%, and subthreshold swing by 20%.

Spring‐Back Characteristics on Bent Holed Parts in V‐Die Bending Process
In recent years, the bending of holed blank to fabricate the bent holed parts has been increasingly applied in almost all industrial fields and they also need much more complexity in shaped part and precision in dimensions. However, most of past research studies were carried out on bent nonholed parts.

Effect of Pulse Current Density on Microstructure of Ti-6Al-4V Alloy by Laser Powder Bed Fusion
This work thoroughly investigated the microstructure of laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) Ti64 alloy induced by electropulsing (ECP) with different current densities. The results show that as the electric current density increases, the small-sized (10 μm) α′
