Ground state of an electrorheological fluid
Physical Review A, 1992The ground state of an electrorheological fluid is examined for high dielectric contrast (∈ p /∈ f →∞). In contrast to the result of Tao and Sun (Phys. Rev. Lett. 67, 398 (1991)] for the dipole limit, three structures are found to be degenerate: face-centered cubic, hexagonal close packed, and body-centered tetragonal.

Two-phased electrorheological fluid
2014We have performed static yield stress experiment using two-phased electrorheological fluids. The two-phased ER fluids consist of mixing different kinds of micron-particles (≅1 μm) like Barium Titanate (BaTiO3), Lead Titanate (PbTiO3) or Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT) with 55 μm glass sphere in silicon oil.
