The search for biomarkers of facial eczema, following a sporidesmin challenge in dairy cows, using mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance of serum, urine, and milk : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Sciences at Massey University, Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand [PDF]
Facial eczema (FE) is a secondary photosensitisation disease of ruminants that is significant in terms of both its economic importance to New Zealand and its impact on animal welfare.

Nanobubbles in Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry
Nanobubbles (NBs) are very small gas-filled cavities in solvents, and when their sizes reach diameters around 200 nm, they remain in solution for extended periods of time, featuring special chemical and physical properties. Here, we investigate the application of NBs in electrospray ionization.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) released from TGF‐β‐activated CAFs are enriched with ECM proteins such as TSG6 and THBS1, which facilitate their binding to recipient cell membranes. This EV–cell interaction promotes the clustering of CD44 and TGF‐β receptors on the target cell surface, thereby potentiating TGF‐β signaling activity. This study highlights a

This study reports a novel targeted protein degradation strategy termed “HSP70‐PROTAC” that recruits Hsc70 complex to a target protein for inducing degradation. Among them, GDAz‐3 exhibits effective GPX4 degradation activity via UPS/CMA processes, triggering ferroptosis‐driven anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo.
