Objective We investigated whether a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects the quality of inpatient acute myocardial infarction (AMI) care and long‐term mortality post‐AMI. Methods We analyzed data from 784,091 adults, 6,047 with a diagnosis of RA, from England and Wales hospitalized with AMI between 2005 and 2019 from the Myocardial Ischaemia ...

Influence of an Argon/Silane Atmosphere on the Temperature of a Thermal Plasma
The influence of a silane‐doped argon atmosphere on the chemical composition and temperature of a thermal nontransferring argon plasma is investigated using optical emission spectroscopy. As a result of the high amount of free electrons resulting from the stepwise ionization and dissociation of the silane molecule, even a silane addition of 0.01 vol ...

Field-Circuit Co-Simulation Method for Electrostatic Discharge Investigation in Electronic Products
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) plays an important role in the hard or soft failure of electronic products due to its high voltage, strong electric field, instantaneous high current, and a wide spectrum electromagnetic radiation.

ON THE PROCESS OF ELECTROSTATIC SUPERCAPACITORS DISCHARGE
Despite the growing popularity of supercapacitors (supercondensers), the common model of discharge and the unified method of describing their characteristics are not available as of yet. This is explained by the complexity of the physical and chemical processes occurring there.

Handbook of Establishing and Maintaining Oxygen‐Free Atmospheres
This study presents a practical framework for creating oxygen‐free atmospheres at ambient pressure using silane‐doped inert gases. The results show that ultra‐low oxygen levels and strongly reduced water content can be achieved through controlled silane dosing, drying systems, and sensor monitoring.

Feedback Control of Electrification in Powder Pneumatic Conveying Process [Translated]†
In a powder pneumatic conveying process, powders are remarkably charged due to the collisions and frictions between themselves or against the conveying pipe, which sometimes causes explosion and fire.

The temperature dependence of fatigue behavior in nickel‐based superalloys is investigated through high‐resolution measurements of plastic localization. While increasing temperature reduces localization and enhances fatigue performance in René 88DT, Inconel 718 exhibits a sharp degradation at intermediate temperature due to intensified slip ...

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation
