Intrinsic Photoactive Star ZnPc–Poly(glutamate) Nanoplatforms for Multimodal Glioblastoma Therapy and Brain‐Targeted Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An intrinsic photoactive star‐shaped zinc phtalocyanine‐poly(L‐glutamic acid) (ZnPc‐PGA) nanoplatform for multimodal glioblastoma (GBM) therapy and brain‐targeted elivery. A ZnPc‐PGA‐based multifunctional theranostic nanocarrier platform enables image‐guided, multimodal GBM therapy. ZnPc‐PGA nanocarriers support the integration of fluorescence imaging,

Excitation of Electrostatic Cyclotron Harmonic Waves in Magnetosphere [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
135-139Wave-particle interaction in the magnetosphere has been studied for wave frequencies at the cyclotron harmonics of electrons and ions. A generalized dispersion relation for electrostatic wave, propagating nearly perpendicular to the magnetic field

An Electrostatic MEMS Frequency Up-converter for Efficient Energy Harvesting

open access: yes, 2014
The design of an MEMS frequency up-converter is described in this paper, The device consists of two electrostatically coupled resonators that relies on the hysteresis of electrostatic pull-in in order to multiply the input excitation frequency by a ...

X‐Functionality–Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution in 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report a water‐based synthesis of 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 perovskite microcrystals with prominent photocatalytic (PC) activity for H2 production. The synergy between organic functionalization and HI‐derived iodide scavenges holes suppress octahedral distortion, and favor electron accumulation, enabling a PC H2 evolution ∼20 µmol·g−1 and long‐term stability ...

On the response of MEMS resonators under generic electrostatic loadings: theoretical analysis

open access: yes, 2019
We present an investigation of the dynamic behavior of an electrostatically actuated resonant structure, resonator, under the simultaneous excitation of primary and subharmonic resonances. A comprehensive analytical solution is obtained via the method of

Orbital Geometry‐Governed Response of Pressure‐Tunable Quantum Defects in hBN

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Defects in hBN act as ultrasensitive quantum manometers when the energy of the intradefect optical transitions is modified by lattice compression. The orbital geometry of the electron wave functions governs how electron hopping and Coulomb interactions react uniquely to the reduction of the van der Waals gap and in‐plane compression, leading to robust ...

Dual‐Mode Magnetic Elastomer for On‐Demand Motion and Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐mode magnetic elastomer is introduced, enabling DC field‐driven programmable actuation and AC field‐driven magnetothermal degradation. GHz‐range magnetic fields generate ultrafast heating of magnetic nanoparticles that activates cleavage of the silicone elastomer matrix.
