Electrostatic potentials, fields and field gradients
Solid State Communications, 1977Abstract Series expansions in Fourier space are proposed for potentials, fields and field gradients. The lattice potential is shown to be harmonic on lattice points. A correction proposed for potential and field calculations by Weenk and Harwig has no serious basis.

Electrostatic field theory is concerned with electric charges at rest. In this programme we begin the study of electrostatics by becoming familiar with the meaning of the following terms and concepts: electric charge electric field strength electric field electric lines of force (also known as electric flux or streamlines ...

Electrostatic Fields in Xerography
Applied Optics, 1964Field calculations provide a better understanding of xerography. The basic equations are given and some typical results are presented and analyzed. Particular emphasis is placed on adjacency effects and the effect of a development electrode.

Molecules In Electrostatic Fields
1996Abstract Of the contributions to the interaction energy listed in Table 1.2, the electrostatic interaction is often the most important, as we shall see in later chapters. However all of the contributions to the interaction energy between molecules, except for the unimportant magnetic terms, derive ultimately from the Coulombic ...
