Analysis of elements of interlenticular opacification
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 2002To report the histopathologic and ultrastructural features of three cases of interlenticular opacification (ILO) between piggyback intraocular lenses.Interventional case series with clinicopathologic correlation.Three pairs of acrylic piggyback lenses were explanted due to decrease in visual acuity associated with ILO.

This chapter will be limited for the most part to consideration of real functions of a real variable-for the complex variable case, see Chapter 5. The only exceptions will be in certain topics in sequences and series where the extension to complex numbers is immediate, and will be so noted.

Network analysis of systems elements
2007A central goal of postgenomic research is to assign a function to every predicted gene. Because genes often cooperate in order to establish and regulate cellular events the examination of a gene has also included the search for at least a few interacting genes.

Elements of Experimental Modal Analysis
2008Fundamental concepts for the characterization of the dynamical response of SDOF and NDOF systems are provided. A description is given of the main techniques to represent the response in the frequency domain and its experimental characterization.

Elemental Analysis of Breast Calcifications
1987For the past 37 years, ever since Leborgne (1949) demonstrated that breast cancer could be detected on the basis of radiographic images of calcifications, it has been generally accepted that all particles in the female breast are “calcifications,” implying that they are chemically similar.

Spectral-element analysis in seismology
2007We present a review of the application of the spectral-element method to regional and global seismology. This technique is a high-order variational method that allows one to compute accurate synthetic seismograms in three-dimensional heterogeneous Earth models with deformed geometry.

Elements of computer-algebraic analysis
Proceedings of the 37th International Symposium on Symbolic and Algebraic Computation, 2012Algebraic Analysis has been coined as a term in the mid 50's by the Japanese group led by Mikio Sato. In recent years many constructions of Algebraic Analysis have been approached from a computer-algebraic point of view, with algorithms and their implementations.

Analysis of trace elements in seaweed
Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, 1970AbstractThe following trace elements have been analysed in various algae samples: arsenic, copper, molybdenum, manganese, zinc, cobalt, antimony, selenium and iron. The ash content has also been determined. The samples were collected from two different localities in Norway, one (Trondheimsfjord) characterised by a relatively strong influence of river ...
