3D Game-Based Learning Media Using a Deep Learning Approach to Enhance Understanding of Natural and Social Science (IPAS) Concepts

open access: yesJurnal Media dan Teknologi Pendidikan
The low level of students’ understanding of the IPAS concept, caused by insufficiently interactive learning and minimal use of digital media, forms the background of this study.

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

Identification of a Shiga toxin A‐derived peptide internalized into Gb3 receptor‐bearing cells via interaction with the Shiga toxin B subunit

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The process of internalization of the Shiga toxin A subunit via formation of a complex with the Shiga toxin B subunit, which specifically binds to the Gb3 receptor. The peptide is designed to act as a carrier of drugs into cancer cells. Here, we explored the potential of peptides derived from the catalytic A subunit of Shiga toxin (STxA) to be drug ...

Epigenetic reprogramming of lineage switching in cancer

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cancer cells rarely commit to a single identity. Epigenetic mechanisms and tumor microenvironment cues push epithelial cells toward flexible, hybrid states that can shift into mesenchymal, neuroendocrine, or stem‐like fates, driving metastasis, drug resistance, and tumor heterogeneity. Targeting the epigenetic regulators behind these transitions, using

Navigating Uncertainty: Exploring Elementary School Teachers' Perspectives on Metacognitive Development in the VUCA Era

open access: yesIndonesian Journal on Learning and Advanced Education (IJOLAE)
Metacognition is the ability that learners have to know, control, and evaluate their thinking processes, as well as learning strategies, can be used to solve problems through three stages, namely the stages of understanding the problem, solving the ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Mathematical numeracy skills for pre-service teacher: An effectiveness of the STEAM framework

open access: yesSocial Sciences and Humanities Open
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning is an approach that integrates five disciplines. This approach positions mathematics not only as a stand-alone subject, but as an analytical foundation that supports numeracy skills

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.
