A wearable electrochemical microneedle patch integrates Prussian Blue redox transduction with molecularly imprinted polymer recognition for reagent‐free sampling and detection of thrombo‐inflammatory biomarkers in dermal interstitial fluid. The platform tracks thrombin and inflammatory cytokines with sensitive in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo performance,

Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

The movement of salt marshes into uplands and marsh submergence as sea level rises is well documented; however, predicting how coastal marshes will respond to rising sea levels is constrained by a lack of process-based understanding of how various marsh zones adjust to changes in sea level.

Mapping Elevation and Elevation Changes in the German Coastal Zone
2023The Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG) is the central service provider of topographic data, cartography, and geodetic reference systems for the German government. As the marine sector is constantly gaining importance, e.g. for the transport of goods or energy security, precise geodetic information become more and more important.

Floral scent divergence across an elevational hybrid zone with varying pollinators
Oecologia, 2022Divergence in floral traits attractive to different pollinators can promote reproductive isolation in related species. When isolation is incomplete, hybridization may occur, which offers the opportunity to explore mechanisms underlying reproductive isolation. Recent work suggests that divergence in floral scent may frequently contribute to reproductive

Persistent Elevated Nitrate in a Riparian Zone Aquifer
Journal of Environmental Quality, 2008AbstractStreamside vegetated buffer strips (riparian zones) are often assumed to be zones of ground water nitrate (NO3−) attenuation. At a site in southwestern Ontario (Zorra site), detailed monitoring revealed that elevated NO3−–N (4–93 mg L−1) persisted throughout a 100‐m‐wide riparian floodplain.

Multi-Car Elevator control using dynamic zoning
2013 IEEE 2nd Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE), 2013Zone drive system is an effective way to safety control of Multi-Car Elevators. Zone is a constant range that restricts the movement of the car. So, constant zone decreases operating efficiency. On the other hand, operating methods without zone, such as scheduled operating, are able to operate efficiently.

The effectiveness of dynamic zoning in multi-car elevator control
2014 IEEE 3rd Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE), 2014In recent years, multi-car elevator (MCE) provided with multi-car per shaft receive attention. By using MCE, it is expected that efficient transportation of passengers with smaller number of shafts and the decrease of elevator setting area in buildings.

The elevation of volcanoes and their edifice heights at subduction zones
Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, 1980The elevation above sea level of circum‐Pacific volcanoes situated on continental crust varies greatly, not only between various chains but also within chains. Their edifice heights, however, are essentially constant with each chain. This pattern is reversed for oceanic volcanoes: The elevation of circum‐Pacific volcanoes situated on oceanic crust is ...
