Osječki matematički list, 2011 The paper presents a way to study the ellipse using a computer and GeoGebra software. The possibility of performing the equation of an ellipse using GeoGebra is described in detail. A method of solving examples with the use of computers and GeoGebra is shown. Applets for further study of the ellipse are offered.
