Elliptic Hypergeometric Solutions to Elliptic Difference Equations [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2009
It is shown how to define difference equations on particular lattices $\{x_n\}$, $n\in\mathbb{Z}$, made of values of an elliptic function at a sequence of arguments in arithmetic progression (elliptic lattice). Solutions to special difference equations have remarkable simple interpolatory expansions.

Evaluation of the Residence Time Distribution (RTD) for Flow in Ducts with Velocity Profile of Two Independent Variables [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2022
The correct information on RTD can help in system design and evaluation. The RTD corresponding to the velocity profile is known only for certain cases, where the velocity profile depends on one coordinate only.

Design of Voltage Mode 6th Order Elliptic Band-pass Filter Using Z-Copy Current Follower Transconductance Amplifier )ZC-CFTA( [PDF]

open access: yesKirkuk Journal of Science, 2017
This paper describes the realization of the new configuration of an active element namely, Z Copy Current Follower Transconductance Amplifier (ZC-CFTA). In this study, the elliptic 6th order voltage-mode (VM) Band-pass filter was configured based on the ...

Butterfly support for off diagonal coefficients and boundedness of solutions to quasilinear elliptic systems

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2021
We consider quasilinear elliptic systems in divergence form. In general, we cannot expect that weak solutions are locally bounded because of De Giorgi’s counterexample. Here we assume that off-diagonal coefficients have a “butterfly support”: this allows

On Types of Elliptic Pseudoprimes [PDF]

open access: yesGroups, Complexity, Cryptology, 2021
We generalize the notions of elliptic pseudoprimes and elliptic Carmichael numbers introduced by Silverman to analogues of Euler-Jacobi and strong pseudoprimes.

A new highly sensitive refractive index sensor using vertically coupled plasmonic elliptic-disk up elliptic-ring nanostructure [PDF]

open access: yesمجله مدل سازی در مهندسی, 2021
In this research work, a novel highly sensitive refractive index sensor using elliptical gold and silver nanoparticles are proposed. The main idea of this work is the use of an elliptic-shaped nanoparticle that is decomposed into two particles as a form ...

Elliptic loops

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Algebra, 2023
Given a local ring $(R,\mathfrak{m})$ and an elliptic curve $E(R/\mathfrak{m})$, we define elliptic loops as the points of $\mathbb{P}^2(R)$ projecting to $E$ under the canonical modulo-$\mathfrak{m}$ reduction, endowed with an operation that extends the curve's addition.

Cryptographically Strong Elliptic Curves of Prime Order [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications, 2021
The purpose of this paper is to generate cryptographically strong elliptic curves over prime fields Fp, where p is a Mersenne prime, one of the special primes or a random prime. We search for elliptic curves which orders are also prime numbers.

Elliptic islands on the elliptical stadium

open access: yesDiscrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems, 2001
We investigate the existence of elliptic islands for a special family of periodic orbits of a two-parameter family of maps corresponding to the billiard problem on the elliptical stadium. The hyperbolic or elliptical character of these orbits is also investigated.

Local Regularity For Elliptic Systems With p, q-Growth

open access: yesBruno Pini Mathematical Analysis Seminar, 2015
In this paper we consider quasilinear elliptic systems with p, q-growth. We discuss some aspects of the theory of regularity for systems and we state a local boundedness result for weak solutions, obtained in collaboration with P. Marcellini. Moreover, a
