Computing all integer solutions of a genus 1 equation

open access: yes
The Elliptic Logarithm Method has been applied with great successto the problem of computing all integer solutions of equations ofdegree 3 and 4 defining elliptic curves. We extend this methodto include any equation f(u,v)=0 that defines a curve of genus

Multidirectional Motion Strategy of Miniature Water Surface Robot Actuated by Single Exciter

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A novel multidirectional motion strategy on the water surface based on a single exciter is proposed, and a single‐exciter single‐plate module is developed for actuation. The driving forces generation mechanism of the module is revealed from the perspective of the asymmetric surface wave field.

Multimodal Locomotion in Insect‐Inspired Microrobots: A Review of Strategies for Aerial, Surface, Aquatic, and Interfacial Motion

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This review identifies key design considerations for insect‐inspired microrobots capable of multimodal locomotion. To draw inspiration, biological and robotic strategies for moving in air, on water surfaces, and underwater are examined, along with approaches for crossing the air–water interface.

An area/performance trade-off analysis of a GF(2m) multiplier architecture for elliptic curve cryptography [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A hardware architecture for GF(2m) multiplication and its evaluation in a hardware architecture for elliptic curve scalar multiplication is presented. The architecture is a parameterizable digit-serial implementation for any field order m.

Gait Analysis of Pak Biawak: A Necrobot Lizard Built using the Skeleton of an Asian Water Monitor (Varanus Salvator)

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Pak Biawak, a necrobot, embodies an unusual fusion of biology and robotics. Designed to repurpose natural structures after death, it challenges conventional boundaries between nature and engineering. Its movements are precise yet unsettling, raising questions about sustainability, ethics, and the untapped potential of biointegrated machines.

LETTER Special Section on Cryptography and Information Security Simple Power Analysis on Fast Modular Reduction with

open access: yes, 2006
SUMMARY We discuss side channel leakage from modular reduction for NIST recommended domain parameters. FIPS 186-2 has 5 recommended prime fields. These primes have a special form which is referred to as generalized Mersenne prime.
