Non-existence of elliptic curves with everywhere good reduction over some real quadratic fields

open access: yes
We prove the non-existence of elliptic curves having good reduction everywhere over some real quadratic fields. These results of computations give best-possible data including structures of Mordell-Weil groups over real quadratic fields Q(√m) up to 100 ...

Non-archimedean integration and special values of L-functions for elliptic curves over function fields

open access: yes, 2000
Let F be a global function field of characteristic p, infinity a fixed place of F. The analytic uniformization of elliptic curves in characteristic p by means of Drinfeld modular curves is used to associate to an elliptic curve E over F with split ...

Mechanical Activation of Piezo1 Drives Osteoarthritis Through Kdm5c‐Mediated Epigenetic Silencing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Excessive mechanical stress activates Piezo1, triggering Ca2+‐dependent cytoskeletal forces that deform the nucleus and reduce H3K4me3. Kdm5c demethylates H3K4me3 at Col2a1 and Runx3 promoters. Kdm5c knockout rescues degradation. Repurposed telmisartan directly inhibits Kdm5c, blocking this axis and showing disease‐modifying efficacy in mouse OA models

Electric Field‐Induced Hole‐ and Electron‐Type Flat Bands in Twisted Double Bilayer Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The electronic structure of twisted double bilayer graphene is visualized using angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy with micrometer spatial resolution at twists of 3.1∘$^\circ$ and 6.0∘$^\circ$ as a function of gate voltage. Tunable hybridization effects and flat band formation occurs between valence and conduction band states due to a finite ...

Galois module structure of elliptic curves over number fields

open access: yes, 1997
Suppose N/L is a finite Galois extension of number fields, and L contains an imaginary quadratic field K. Let E be an elliptic curve over L for which $End(E)=O\sb{K}$.

Is There a Market for Organic Milk in Serbia? Insights From Integrated Choice and Latent Variable Model

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Past growth in the global organic market has been concentrated in high‐income countries, while in middle‐income countries such as Serbia the organic market remains nascent and characterized by a sparse assortment of organic products, high retail premia and limited evidence on consumer preferences and their drivers.

On 5-torsion of CM elliptic curves

open access: yes, 2018
Let $\mathcal{E}$ be an elliptic curve defined over a number field $K$. Let $m$ be a positive integer. We denote by ${\mathcal{E}}[m]$ the $m$-torsionsubgroup of $\mathcal{E}$ and by $K_m:=K({\mathcal{E}}[m])$ the field obtained by adding to $K$ the ...
