Classical elliptic hypergeometric functions and their applications
General theory of elliptic hypergeometric series and integrals is outlined. Main attention is paid to the examples obeying properties of the "classical" special functions.

An original method is presented for producing artificial spider silk fibers with magnetic and magnetomechanical responsiveness, which consists in coating them with a nanometer‐thick layer of FeCo alloy by sputtering deposition. The challenge of combining organic materials and inorganic magnetic nanostructures is addressed, thus taking a step forward ...

Three-loop banana integrals with three equal masses
We obtain and solve the canonical differential equations for the three-loop banana integrals in dimensional regularisation when three of the four masses are equal.

On Periodic Solutions of a Nonlinear Reaction-Diffusion System
We consider a system of three parabolic partial differential equations of a special reaction-diffusion type. In this system, the terms that describe diffusion are identical and linear with constants coefficients, whereas reactions are described by ...

Numerical Evaluation of Elliptic Functions, Elliptic Integrals and Modular Forms [PDF]
We describe algorithms to compute elliptic functions and their relatives (Jacobi theta functions, modular forms, elliptic integrals, and the arithmetic-geometric mean) numerically to arbitrary precision with rigorous error bounds for arbitrary complex variables. Implementations in ball arithmetic are available in the open source Arb library. We discuss

Fluid Forces Control Structural Remodeling of Blind‐Ended Lymphatic Microvessels
Using innovative microfluidic biofabrication with fluid mechanical insights, we recapitulated the blind‐ended microanatomy and physiological drainage properties of capillary lymphatics. Our results reveal the interrelationship between intra‐ and extraluminal regions of lymphatic vessels due to flow‐induced sprouting and morphological changes that ...

3D printed hybrid scaffolds combining bioactive silica–calcium chemistry with elastic polymers guide human bone stem cells to form bone. The scaffolds support cell survival, organization, and invasion while releasing osteogenic ions. Together, architecture and composition drive bone‐specific gene expression, extracellular matrix organization, and ...

Efficient evaluation of incomplete elliptic integrals and functions
These integrals with real parameters (with emphasis on Legendre's F(\(\theta\),k)) may be evaluated very efficiently (better than by the expansions given in the Abramowitz-Stegun book) by a Newton-Raphson scheme if one uses relations between Jacobi's elliptic functions and theta functions (motivated by experiences with complete elliptic integrals ...

Wound closure is governed by geometry‐orientation coupling: aligned fibers speed migration along their axis but hinder perpendicular advance. In vivo diabetic wound experiments with composition‐matched fibrin, combined with an anisotropic diffusion (biased random‐walk) model, quantify this trade‐off and generate a healing landscape.
