Amyloidogenic Peptide Fragments Designed From Bacterial Collagen‐like Proteins Form Hydrogel
This study identified amyloidogenic sequence motifs in bacterial collagen‐like proteins and exploited these to design peptides that self‐assemble into β‐sheet fibers and form hydrogels. One hydrogel supported healthy fibroblast growth, showing promise for biocompatible materials. Our work demonstrates that bacterial sequences can be harnessed to create

Butterfly wing scales are intricate cuticular functional nanosctructures. This perspective suggests that spatially varying material properties, cytoskeletal constraints, and growth‐driven mechanical instabilities shape the resulting nanoscale architectures created from single cells.

Toward Symbolic Integration of Elliptic Integrals
Integrals are considered of the form \(\int_y^x\prod_{i=1}^h(a_i+b_it)^{-1/2} \prod_{j=1}^n(a_j+b_jt)^{m_j} dt\), where \(h=3\) or \(4\), \(n\geq h\), the \(m\)'s are integers, and ...

Ultrasmall Platinum Nanoparticles for Radiation‐Enhanced Cancer Therapy
This work proposes a nanomedicine‐based strategy to enhance X‐ray radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Ultrasmall Pt‐NPs exhibit catalase‐like activity that may contribute to modulation of the tumor microenvironment and amplify interactions between radiation and biological matter, leading to increased DNA damage.

Integrals involving complete elliptic integrals
The authors have evaluated certain integrals involving complete elliptic integrals \(K(k)\) and \(E(k)\). Several special cases are mentioned. The interested readers are referred to [\textit{S. L. Kalla} and \textit{Bader N. Al-Saqabi}; Res. Math. 20, No. 1/2, 507-516 (1991; Zbl 0767.33016)].

Nonuniformly elliptic energy integrals with p,q-growth
We study the local boundedness of minimizers of a nonuniformly energy integral of the form ∫ Ω f ( x , D v ) d x under p , q -growth conditions of the type λ ( x ) | ξ | p ≤ f ( x , ξ ) ≤ μ ( x ) 1 + | ξ | q for some exponents q ≥ p > 1 and with ...

The role of novel thiophene‐based ligands with halogen substitutions in enhancing the chiroptical and optoelectronic properties of 2D chiral HOIPs has been investigated. By tailoring ligand design, enhanced CD and CPL properties are achieved, with improved CPL discrimination in photodetectors.

Sharp bounds of the number of zeros of Abelian integrals with parameters
In this article, we study four Abelian integrals over compact level curves of four sixth-degree hyper-elliptic Hamiltonians with parameters. We prove that the sharp bound of the number of zeros for each Abelian integral is 2. The proofs rely mainly
