The phenolic profiling and in vitro bioactivities of five Asteraceae species were evaluated. Achillea millefolium and Arnica montana stand out as rich sources of phenolic compounds, which correlate with their significant antioxidant results. Chamaemelum nobile contained a high amount of flavonoids, which may be involved in its anti‐inflammatory effects.

Twenty‐two phthalazine derivatives are designed, synthesized, and assessed against four human CA isoforms, showing notable activity against hCA IX and hCA I. Selective compounds exhibit a selectivity index up to 13.8. Docking analysis reveals active site interactions, and anticancer effects are tested on two breast cancer cell lines.
