Siberian Elm, Elm Leaf Beetle Control, 1977
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1978Abstract A native planting of Siberian elms, approximately 15 ft in height located 8 miles east of Stillwater, Oklahoma, were selected for this test. Trees were treated on June 10 after a large egg hatch was observed. Larvae were 1/8 to 3/8 inch in length.

Elm Leaf Beetle Control on Siberian Elm, 1991
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1992Abstract This test was conducted on elm trees 15-20 ft tall and 8-10 ft wide growing in an ornamental planting located at a local residence. Treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block with 3 replications. Applications were made on 4 Jun using a Marco R-20 sprayer which delivered 1.2 gal/min at 150 psi.

Trees were treated on May 31'79 when the temperature was 84°F and the wind velocity was 0-5 mph. Larvae were 1/8 to 3/8 inch in length.

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1987Abstract On 15 Apr, 11 juvenile American elm trees were randomly selected and treated with Furdan 15G, (carbofuran) at the rate of lg per 2.54 cm. trunk diameter at ground level. A second group of 11 trees served as untreated experiment controls. All trees ranged from 4 to 6 m tall and 10 to 17 cm trunk diameter at ground level.
