Abstract Background Hemorrhage is the leading cause of preventable death in severe trauma, with primary hemostasis relying on platelet‐rich clot formation under high shear flow. This study quantifies the incidence, severity, and heterogeneity of platelet dysfunction in Level I trauma patients.
